Begin to think
of the lost years since you left me in tears
with the hope that I will not rise again

though I fought many battles and storms
through the journey of life in my quest
to fulfill the dream I have always imagined
that your eyes have insufficient tears
to cool your heart which forever burns
with the memories we shared
in our youthful years when I had
no treasure to build the castle of

now that we have reached the golden
age of our lives you will understand
that you may have broken my heart
but not my mind for I was determined
to aspire for success and reach my destiny
