Numb, cocooned ignorant in the fog.
Unable to see what's close by.
What's right in front of my nose.
Staring me right in the face.
The fog lifts in a life-changing instant.
Furious storm clouds revealed.
Angry, scared tears deluge.
Threaten the ground beneath.
I'm hanging on in for the clouds to blow by.
White knuckled in fear of being washed away.
Alone in the freezing rain.
When on earth will it stop?
A gap in the clouds appears and expands.
Relief, joy and peace.
Then the stunning shock.
I'm the sky.
An ominous cloud appears.
Here I go again.
Then the shock.
I'm the sky.
A cloud appears.
Will I go again?
Then the surprise.
I AM the sky.
And so are we all.
