What Will We Be

What will we be when we are no longer, who we are or were
and gone beyond our reach not knowing names we once were called
Man and Woman over-all

What will we be
When our sight, hearing, smell, taste, our touch no longer feel
And others who knew us long before, then, like us to others no more

What will we be then
When our senses leave us far behind, and go their own way then
Maybe somewhere the answer lies in existentialism minds

In way beyond, beyond the ways journeys without end
Yet .. as we rest a while in retrospect, to ask
What will we be when we are no longer, who we are, or were

Like the now we know, the touch we feel, the sight we see
The smell we smell, the sounds we hear

The seas with its waters, the stars with their lights
The wind with its breeze, the earth with its soil and ancient trees

But..what will we be, when we have past them all
and they no longer last, what will we be, where will we be,
in the everlast, When .. we are no longer, who we are or were.
