The gallant and bold pig gives a welcoming grunt,
He searches for food in such a useless hunt.
The lonely sheep wanders in search of new grass and juicy hay,
On her own she'll wander - day after day.
The cow stands patiently, occasionally porting the ground,
Waiting to be milked without uttering a sound.
The cockerels crow is sharp and brave,
He's unaware that he's perched on his unmade grave.
When the sun shines brightly in the morning sky
The ducklings feel no need to walk as they've discovered how to fly.
When the sun has cast its shadow - no life is left on the farm,
All the animals have gone to sleep, treasuring such a unique charm.
They'll wake again tomorrow and start all over again,
Even if its in the sun, the snow or the rain.
