Once I stood before the vast ocean.
My feet planted firmly in the warm, golden sand.
From the shore I rushed into the glittering waters
and swam against the calm tide.
Further and further I went till nothing,
coral nor sand could be felt.
The waves crashed softly on my raven head;
willingly I sank into an azure abyss.
All was murky and silent and I weightless,
at the mercy of the sea.
T'was then I had finally found peace.
