Lately it's been three an done
always three and one- and why?
When it is so easy to se and feel,
to be sensitively high- to capture such beauty
-only to be brought down and passed by. Those that give me pleasure turn their heads
and sigh.
Those I truly seek to please either criticize
or pry.
What is freely given in love and truth
is made mock of and betrayed.
Such is the fool's role on the set that
has been staged. Robbed in giving silently and suffering
indignities when speaking out my friend
beside me now is all that matters
that is what my life is all about.
