How do you see me?
Is it the color of my skin,
Or, is it the shade, I come in? Are my features too strong,
My teeth are showing, of course! can't you see?
Well, that's nothing new;
Only something you taught me. I often smile with my eyes,
Sure! I know you can't see my heart,
It is so----o full of life,
The cruelty of this world will not make it tart. As I climb and climb to find my way out;
My spirit is kindred and free,
My thought is, do you think I am human?
Really! how do you, see me?
