Dreams When Shattered
Don’t come near me, not even for a day
I know it’s painful,
A day is long, perhaps very long
When I wait for you, at a crossroad or a garden
At a bus stand or at a railway station….
Don’t come near me, even for an hour
The shades of pain which surround me
Will then disappear…
I don’t want all these to happen
In my lonely life.
After the scorching noon comes the twilight
After the twilight the evening which rolls to night
After you come, time will be when you will leave
Me more lonely, alone, awfully alone.
