I’d Feel Homesick
by Alison Derick

My great big heart was waiting to see the stampede.
You’d send Honesty, Loyalty and Grace.
I’d hear the brass trumpets, feel the notes press against me,
filling all my spaces within.

Days have passed,
the summer frozen in July.
I stay bathed in shining armor,
burning brightly to light your way.
You can find me, re-see me.

Running from Fate
by Birdie Lucas

I am fifteen and I do not dream of houses and husbands and children
Like the other girls around me
I am sixteen and I don’t care if the boys don’t notice me
I surely do not notice them
I am seventeen and I am so different from everyone in my town
I cannot wait to leave
I am eighteen and I am leaving for college
Finally free from the judgment of my small town
I am nineteen and I drop out
I pack my bags and move to a city

Take All The Time You Need - December 9th, 2023
by Gilligan Snolepart

Take all the time you need
But, if you can, don't be too long
Decide the Life you’ll have
And the Path you'll walk
I get that it's about you
Not anyone or anything else
And it is!

But if it has us two on it
I want to see it

ते ना मला उमजले ना तुला समजले
by Apurva Phulari

In Concert
by Seren VonStein

What is the point of reaching out
When you don't want to reach?
I felt bereft of your presence,
An awning between us so wide
It would never be breached.

You leave,
You return,
Leave once more,
Only to return another time.

Another day passes by
by Mayank Nirala

Still waiting
It feels forever, Since you crossed by me;

My heart longs, to be altered in a way
You made me skip a beat;

I sit aside, eyes waiting
but i procure none i crave;

Each second feels protracted

A Chase After Love - 02
by Subhas Chandra Chakra

Days passed,
Months passed,
Years of waiting-

For someone might
Turn up a day.

Like a pomegranate
In the mountains high
I had been waiting,

Customer Service

Your call is very important to us.
Please hold while we connect you to the next available agent.

The hold music buzzes in my ears.
The poor attempt at soft jazz,
the wretched sounds of clarinet worming their way into my brain.

All of our agents are busy at this time.
