Such loudness is the king of day
Above the sky. Oh, what a noise!
No whiskey can subdue his pain
As sun rays cry like feral boys
When daylight rains, it pours for sure
When green trees sway, they breathe like trolls
His head pounds on, it begs for thoughts
Nature screams
......
I know how lost and lonely
Your world was for a while
Your eyes so sad and empty
Your face without a smile
Your world so out of focus
Set you walking the wrong street
And always I’d be there
To wipe the tears of each defeat
......
Oh! With what unspeakable anguish
Do I regret the vocation
I came so close
And so oft to having
The sweet acclamation
That might have been mine.
Had I tried and failed,
That would scarcely concern me,
Yet, I squandered my resources
......
Some days I question do I wish
That we had never met
I wouldn’t spend my days and nights
Trying to forget
I wouldn’t feel this unrelenting
Agonising pain
I wouldn’t feel this lost; knowing
I’ll never be me again
