The Man Who Thinks He Can
by Walter D. Wintle

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't;
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the word we find
Success begins with a fellow's will,
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outcasted, you are;

ship
by Unetix -

my mind is overthinking
the ship keeps on sinking
the cup is overflowing
but my mind keeps on going
nothing but my anxiety growing
my sadness surely showing
but my mind is now rowing in my thoughts
the ship might as well be a yacht
a party for the distraught
with the demons they haven't yet caught

the next day
by Red Brick Keshner

sitting here staring at that blinkin' cursor
having nothing other than that buzzing
familiar as the chirping of Spring
anticipating the rusting of Fall
Super moon has come and gone
time to unstiffen carpal joints
click, clack; clickity, clack

Just me
by Carl Sinderby

Just me who i am with in this body I own,
Forever changing I understand I have grown,
Many challenges I have faced,
All the dreams I have chased,

Just me in the room i call home,
Thinking of how to set the tone,
Will it be a graceful day i have today,
Or do I falter to pretend I'm ok,
Just me I count on so many times,

Afterthought
by baby panda

I was cutting garlic when i thought
Will i ever deserve love?
I cut my finger on the knife
And the blood stings of grief

I was ironing out a particularly
stubborn crease on a shirt
And i remembered
You looked so good in white

Footsteps
by Carl Sinderby

Flowing my footsteps down the lane,
Trying to think as much the same,
Looking above the rainy clouds,
Smiling at birds that makes those sounds,
Following my footsteps down the lane,
Giving in to my ball and chain,
Glancing upon the tall sycamore,
Dreaming of better times forever more,
This face i show can only tell,
The life i have inside my shell,
