To Whom It May Concern
by Markiya Franklin

Who do you think you are
To touch me that way
To use me the way you did

To cause pains and mock other hurts
To abandon us in this world

What if there's someone above us
Above all else
The questions that started it all

But what if we just want someone to hear
What if that's behind all the fuss
To placate ourselves
Prolonging the eventual fall
