Oh, to be free

Oh, to be able to unglue myself from the screens.
To go outside and walk in the sun, just because.

Oh, to be able to let myself smile while I sweat under the heat.
To not wonder about the notifications I am getting.

Oh, to be able to work on myself without asking others "so what should I do?"
To be free, without my heart beating frantically.

Oh, to be able to expect good results from every decision I make.

But then I met a gentle soul
Whose kindness made my heart whole
