Facade

The Facade
Journeys riddled with incessant pain
Yet the scars never show
brought to my knees in agony
Yet they remain unscraped
Maybe there is no pain
This was a waste

the shadows that i sleep with

the notion that i must.
devotion to a trust that i
should, could, or would

the notion that i am, i can't
i won't, will always be
the stories that i wrote and wove

The Entertainer

Up on stage the worlds his own
He gives the crowd a spellbinding show.
Leaves the stage to rapturous applause.
And always leaves them wanting more.
But as the curtain falls and the lights are dimmed
The demons inside him begin to set in.
His doubts and fears eat into his skin.
As the walls around him begin to close in.
