Oh Lord, oh sun; save me with drought.
The enemy is larger than man, but hope is stronger than the winds.
We are pursuers by the Word, and perpetuated without it.
We are consumers by the Word, and vendors without it.
We are two or more by the Word, and isolated without it.
Oh God, oh giver; buy us before we sell.
You are the baker, and we are your patrons.

These are poems about love and spirituality. Is love the highest form of spirituality? The evangelist Paul thought so in his epiphany on Divine Love in 1 Corinthians 13.
Righteous
by Michael R. Burch
Come to me tonight
in the twilight, O, and the full moon rising,
spectral and ancient, will mutter a prayer.
......
My covetous heart meets your unsightly dote.
Today, two souls depart.
Tomorrow, you’ll re-devote.
My meagerness for love knows His is plenty.
I trust in You.
“Love does not envy.”

......
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us out of love.
Lust is human nature, but love is patient, love is kind.
Envy is human nature, but love does not envy, it always trusts.
Pride is human nature, but love does not boast.
Gluttony is human nature, but love does not dishonor others, it always preserves.
Greed is human nature, but love is not self-seeking, it always hopes.
Wrath is human nature, but love is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong.
Sloth is human nature, but love does not delight in evil, it rejoices with the truth.
Do everything in love.

"They will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons."
They have eyes, yet only seek knowledge;
Tongue, but cannot hold it prudently;
Legs, and walk away from Your paths.
"Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Their world, clinging to jewels and gold;
Senses, fumbling in fabrication;
Soul, troubled by the enemy.
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing."

Peace acquaints companionship, and you might not see it now,
But the Devil befriends seclusion where no witnesses are found.
Some battles are mental, and even those leave visible scars.
So, as you go about your days, please offer your whole heart.
Hate is a criminal and casualties are evidence,
And, although 'be kind' is cliché, it furnishes joy and declares reverence.
You might find yourself asking what differently you could have done.
And to that, I would say, “Do everything in love.”

God is full of it.
Full of Compassion,
Full of Grace,
Full of Faith.
God is inexhaustible.
He is over-bountiful,
He is overflowing with Loyal Love,
He is Just from above.
