Holes of My Heart
by Joshua ThomasThoughts cut so deep sometimes that they stare through your soul, helpless in the pursuit of happiness of life nothing can seem to grasp the pain that one holds inside. Nor can a shred of tears bring release to comfort the darkened soul. Lost in time, the memories flow, looking for a way to seep out of the hole. I sometimes lose control of the madness that has become a part of my living, breathing soul and it seems like nothing can stop the darkness that holds me so, An emptiness it leaves a hole boundless by time that I cannot even dare to control. One day, maybe I'll make it out of this mental prison that I call my soul.
