Garnet
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Gadabout butterflies
glitter like red sunset.
Gem sparkles in the west.
Gracious nature provides
glamour hues in winter.
Glad robin sings, lustrous.
Goodbye, last robustness.

Opals
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Opalescent leaves fall
outside summer's green door.
Outbound, a year sparkles
once age has come with grace.
Orange sun, red roses

Witch
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Wicked aged woman,
wreaking harm with cauldron,
warty nose, crafty eyes;
Wisdom sees through dark guise!

Unusual colors.

Mango
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Mellow mango, red gold,
Myriad ways to eat,
Marvel of June smoothies,
Munchable with ice cream.
Mesmerizing pink moon
meets orchard of delight,
Mulberry sun comes soon.

Peonies
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Pink, with elegant, sun-loving petals, scented,
plush and lush, like hued nebulae, suspended.
Preoccupied with visitors, south wind and rain,
plum butterflies and more, ever coming again!
Pretty prestige; minty green, garden's delight,
Pearly pink buds, under nomad clouds of white,
Peaceful in nature, like a silvery moon at night.
