The Last Moment

For the last moment
is a forehead kiss
it wasn't sweet, it wasn't soft
and it wasn’t warm
it was a light cold tap
a pact
that would end my sore
There’s an abrupt firework
for the last moment, I felt something

A broken heart ...

the heart is then broken later next year,
a broken heart knows not what it wants,
tears don't cause heartbreak; the heartbreak caused these tears it said,
a broken heart feels undeserving,
for maybe its person is just not enough,
a broken heart was greedy,

Who am I?
I trod the earth,
My fingers knead the clouds.
I bend my mind into a
Hypotenuse of Pythagoras,
But the proper path to walk is dark
Behind and before
With never a tremor
But a start.

Jostle the pieces of me, not yet cemented in place
Turn them over
One side pristine, the other scratched and scored
Handle them gently
We learned whole pieces can become parts, through negligence or force
Mind the edges
