Pastoral Response
by Angel Garcia

Thy words and fawning how vacant and void
Dance under the night, diverting devoid
whirling around in the land sounds folie
In the meadow with small pests how lowly

While loud the trump's heroic clang,
And sock or buskin skelp alang
To death or marriage;
