Sometimes my head is in the clouds...
Other times my head is in the sand...
Sometimes my thoughts are so jumbled up...
I feel I’m sinking in some far off hinterland...

It’s hard to control my thinking...
A challenge I face every day...
It’s as if my wires are completely crossed...
The mind games that steal me away...

I will not follow and flock,
Allowing a shackle and lock, devastating.
Contemplating, if you can do something or not,
Assimilating a herd that will never have their own voice.
Ironic they can't be heard, forever on societies tether,
Being lured by comforts, not even their own thoughts,
Living their safe life thinking its perfect because of the
house, the wife, the two kids and the drive,
But they forgot the dreams they once had,
So waste not want not, I mean waste nothing want
