I felt like those discarded K-cups
We had been making coffee at midnight
The kitchen was a mess, but I wanted to
Just create insanity once more
I threw the K-cup in the recycling bin
Knowing I must sweep the used grinds
That had fallen out
However, I wanted my coffee
So, I put another cup in the machine
And woke up to scent of Colombia
