flower of morning
diamond dew kissed, musk rose red
grape skies overhead
wistful in the mist
so long yearning for peach sun
green birds sing sudden
Earth was wet with dew,
Fog rolled over the hills,
Gentlest breeze blew,
And with it, the chills!
Morning of the mist,
That rolled in at dawn;
But what a strange twist-
Everything seemed gone!
......
Dawn rose on blue misty mountains, and matching blue sky;
And it wasn't very long, before bluebells caught my eye.
The bluejays sang sunshine, all around the morning glory,
As blue butterflies flitted about, the peacock territory!
Blue dragonflies crept on leaves, off to an odd somewhere,
The world was covered in blue, although hardly yet aware!
Coneflowers and grape hyacinths, danced to forget-me-nots,
And sun turned slowly golden, as if nature's afterthoughts.
Ice cream in the mist
and dripping cones at dawn's edge
in a mad, mad mood!
The two of us are laughing
to see the sun arising.
Much of life
is a mist
what's there
your eyes would miss
yet you linger on
'and say: ' This isn't complete
that which is not whole
is in no way a treat'

Thou, undying soul of Winter; O hear,
Sheathing enterprise of season, our own!
While thou art fortified, thy stains not fear
On the sun, - comes the fruitfulness afield
Thy olde mystery be full, reknown
Breathing high o'er chilling dome, must build
Until gaudy summer comes, a domain
As same as summer's soul leases it's role
Not to recline upon the lands of chain.
The unsoaked ground must pay thy debt now
