I look in myself
I see something sprout out
It's slow but progressive
I love this man so true
So the heavens chose you
I thought my sky was blue
But I prayed you come to my avenue

The sun belongs to someone else now.
Where did all my seasons glow
Perhaps by sand or did the water flow.
Did the leaf fly away
Did the snow find it's way.
A heart too diverse to invest
Mind unable to digest.
Still waters run deep
Emotions always to keep.
Questions never asked brushed away by the past.
