Love and friendship Poems
As one big nation
by James DawsonWe need to come together as one big nation, Put the hate on the shelf to stop the devastation,Do new public relations write a new proclamation, If we plan to succeed as one big nation. Come on my people let's fulfill King's dream, Let's grow together to represent the same team, I need my Latinos jews my blacks and whites, And the rest of God's people to share the same rights To be one big family and never have to fight. Language and colors are what separate each other, If you can see past that we can love one another, It's just God's way of adding a little twist, To all the creations that exist on his list. Being rich or poor that don't make people mean, It's their misguided souls and low self-esteem, If you demonstrate the love from the very start, You'll show the presence of God embedded in your heart. Never will you suffer with everybody's help, No more pain and shame from blaming yourself, With you teaching me and me teaching you, World wide together is how we pull through. We want the same things we share the same dreams, As one big nation were on the same team, So being a certain color should never ever hurt, And not knowing the language don't mean it can't work, Patience and understanding will make things right, To eliminate the fear of ever wanting to fight, You got to learn the difference about your fellow man, In order to grow together to make a better land, Because it don't make sense to remain incompetent, About differences in our lives that was truly meant, For us to come together to learn one another, To embrace new changes and things yet to be discovered, Did you ever think that difference was part of the plan, And if the World was flat we would share the same land, Did you ever think of race and it being so many, And as far as getting knowledge the world has plenty, Can you ever imagine the whole world as being stress free, Can you ever imagine the whole world singing we are family, Smiling holding hands in a circle of elation, That's the only way we succeed as one big nation.
