The shine of the bright light
The chatter of the busy voice
A reflection of the moon in the calm river
To behold such a turbulent yet wonderful sight
There is something in the air tonight
I feel the beating in my chest
Despite the noise around me
I hear your words in my head

I cant just stay home and miss you
Every time I open our texts
I get reminded of the sweet moments spent
Lying in bed watching a movie with you in my arms
Like the world could end right at that moment
I couldn't care any less
I want to hold you forever
I want to kiss away all your stress
I miss the moments we shared

A symbol of love so astew
Like a carefully set house of cards
Its known to have many faces
Yet its truest form is known to few
Ive searched for it in countless places
Until I found it right within you

Burnt a slow blue hue
As if they were aching for more fuel
I knew where I had to go
Towards you
A path I never knew I’d choose
But it just felt right
And still continues to do
You gave me the fuel
By the warmth of your hearth

Id say I missed you like the trees miss the wind
Like your breath revitalizing my skin
Their gentle barks skimmed by your breeze
An act of service
A cardinal sin

Apne aap se main kahoon

main na karoon
apna bhi koi kaam

Nothing in sight but a belief
That one day we’ll be united

Id swim across the currents if it meant I would reach you faster

I become one with a part of me that was long lost
