The Fine Mind

Began to slip
Twisting and turning
Upon reality slowly losing its grip
Having no avenue to direct its massive energy
Or venue to express its million thoughts
The complex brain soon became manic and overwrought

Panic and conspiracy reigned
Anxiety became its enemy

Tells of the troubles of man
And the sorrow be brings

Snakes lurk in his heart.
Venom fed his perversions and desire.
He drank the rivers dry.
And set the earth on fire.

And bathe in innocents' blood
The is a price to pay as sins accrue
For crimes against the most defenseless of humanity
The devil must have his due.

Their moans will strangle your words
Their screams deafen your ears
Their ghosts will rise from the ground
Into the river of darkness
