We Didn't Say Goodbye

"I wish that noone cared," I said, "I wish I lived for me"
"As long as you still care," she said, "you never will be free"
"I dont think I'm scared," I said, "I'm trying something new"
"This is all too much," she said, "I think I'm scared of you"
"I'll give you what you want," I said, "if you just need some space"
"I'll just close my eyes," she said, "and you can touch my face"
"I'm no longer numb," I said, "I now know how to feel"
"This is not my life," she said, "None of this is real"
"I wish that you still cared," I said, "I wish you lived for me"
"This may not get fixed," she said, 'but come sit next to me"
