Incomprehensible femininity

My dear Erato, I would really like to say
you grow more comely in every way
and this poor poet would hate to lose
such a lovely and adorable Muse.
Through your eyes like deep pools of mystery
into the sweet labyrinth of your mind I see
and wander down those enigmatic ways
discovering the riches your mind displays.

With elegant grace she overflowed

I saw my Muse briefly again today
and the sight of her took my breath away.
Upon her such beauty has been bestowed
as with elegance and grace she overflowed.
It's a privilege to have such a Muse
and I'd hate her love and friendship to loose.
She's a wonderful gift beyond measure
and to see her gives me so much pleasure.

A beauty that can never stray,
It's found in things both great and small,
A quality that touches all.
It's in the way the willow sways,
In the softness of a morning's haze,
In the gentle rustle of a dress,
And the way a flower’s petals caress.
