Dizain (New Era)
by Poetry Forms

Our days are swift, and age affects our lives -
the essence of our character and traits.
Though thankful as another year arrives,
We haltingly approach the entry gates
Concerned about what destiny awaits.

Cast off this uninvited guest of fear!
Grab hands, and leap into the coming year!
Draw near the gate with courage - boldly delve -
Embrace the future, lift your glass in cheer,

Dizain (Golden Lord)
by Poetry Forms

Listen again as the chorus calls out
At the transition from darkness to light
Hearing the Galahs as they loudly shout
Revelling in the freedom from last night,
And like other avians prepare for flight.
The wakened sun sends out its golden shoots
As scouts leading the way along its route
Heralding the passage of the lord of day
See each dawn the Angels make their salute
Welcoming the Golden One passing by.

Dizain (Wind Burn)
by Poetry Forms

My cheeks are cold; ruddy and rather red,
and the muddy residue on my shoe
has me wishing I were home in my bed.

Me and my reindeer and my toy filled sleigh.
We travel around at the speed of sound,
This Santa Claus' heart is warm today.

Captivating Dreamer
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Sitting detached upon her moonlit throne
Yet with the butterflies, birds and flowers,
in blithe hues, she's never, in truth alone.
Mother Nature's pearly in midnight hours,
Lost in vivid dreams of sunshine bowers!
Dark and tranquil is night, under the moon,
And she wears flowers in her hair, in June.
Fragrances from many blooms fill the air,
as redbirds invade dreams with silky tunes,
and glitter and pearls light the velvet chair.

The Past Grows Dreamy
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Inside our minds time often flows backward,
To rich sparkling treasures we left behind,
But the memories become somewhat blurred,
In a landscape where purple mists purblind.
There we find old gold, because time is kind
To the woman in the shoe with children,
Fading slow with Alice in Wonderland,
And Humpty Dumpty, from the wall fallen.
And old loves and those we knew beforehand,
Not to mention past sudden joys unplanned!
