I Am Turquoise

I am forever roaming, turquoise,
Thrashing, with a roaring noise.

I'm often kissed by sunset's lips,
Red in passing, on endless trips.

Reflected in my sparkling deeps,
The sky I once was, often peeps.

I'm foliage and flowers and birds.

wasting and throwing away,
business is simply booming;
resources deplete every day.

Take heed of what we’re doing
before it is far too late,
For the things we are pursuing
