Popular Companionship Poems
Marooned
by Ren Adam Bres

A world apart yet our love remains,

To be happy again sans the shame.

Amidst the sunken, sullen silence of our place in the stars –

I can only dream and hope for a world where you are not far.

Push and pull – we ebb and we flow, we laugh and we lose, we love and we hate.

each time you leave
by Red Brick Keshner

wreathe of words sprout upon doorstep bed

beneath a far-looking moon, whisper to ear

upon footsteps fading, daily gaining near

nestled between gaps of tiles and grout

waiting for mistletoe to be hung again

Devotion
by Brian Cowan

How old you've grown, my love.
And yet,
You haven't changed a bit,
From that young girl I first saw,
On whom I plied my wit;
To win her
And even then, you lived within her
As now, she lives in you.

Together, alone
by Simon Deeley

No shadows in the field, save these two
We stand together, alone,
Our arms entwined
Our shadows merged around our feet
Casting an unused shelter.

We look to the horizon,

Life’s Sam Hill moments to calamitous hurts.
Peripheral friend with no perineal thoughts,
Scurrying like a cloud knocked my walls,
To bucket me with me to be me moments.

Vows
by Prem Sarito

Warning: Bad things might happen.
God does not give a damn
Or is at least busy with more important things
But I will stand by you
Until the winds of time carry us away.

Advertencia: pueden pasar cosas malas
A Dios no le importa un carajo
O al menos está ocupado con cosas más importantes.
Pero estaré a tu lado
