Ding dong merrily on high,
In heav'n the bells are ringing:
Ding dong! verily the sky
Is riv'n with angel singing.
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
E'en so here below, below,
Let steeple bells be swungen,
And 'Io, io, io!'
By priest and people sungen.

Дихає зірка, пульсує. Обабіч
Стріхи всміхаються ґонтами, сіном,
де й черепицями.
В яслах віч-на-віч,
Скарб найдорожчий – Божа дитина.
Світ зацентровано в тиші хвилини,
Світ обезмежнено до повноти.
Крильцями ангел тріпоче. Дитині
Солодко й тепло поміж доброти.

Holpen are all folk on Earth, born is God's Son so dear!

God today hath poor folk raised and cast a-down the proud.
Going o'er the hills, through the milk-white snow,
Heard I ewes bleat, while the wind did blow.
