On a blooming boulevard of beautiful palm trees,
Fragrances and fronds fluttered in fresh breeze,
Sunset parakeets perched in a purple twilit town,
Hushed moonlight mellowed after the meltdown.
Love is the golden star in the day and night sky,
Marking lush seasons, as halcyon years go by,
Love shines all the days, and also all the nights,
In an age of sweet flowers, and purple twilights.
Twinkle twinkle moonlit, radiant love is in bloom;
And under vaulted skies, milky stars are strewn.
Warmly beams noon, then hued florescent dark,
And in amber afternoons, lovers in verdant parks.
In the flush of hot summertime, I took the scenic route,
Up a hill of pine trees, when all of nature was in fruit!
All along the fragrant path, I relished that winding road,
Swept away by multitudinous colors, beauty had bestowed!
The dawn had grown so lovely, with its cotton candy skies,
So like the debut of springtime, in its blushing surprise!
And I was welcomed with sweet songs, into Birdland Manor,
In the blooming golden age, of nature's youthful glamour!
The beauty of the scorching hot desert plains,
Is evident in turquoise skies and blooming cacti,
And at first unlikely glimpse, the memory remains,
Long after cherry red sun has left the evening sky.
Blooms of pink, red, orange and every other hue,
Provide lush charm on the sweltering desert sand,
And the occasional traveler receives a fervid view,
A sight that commands one to pause where they stand!
gold butterflies in noon fields
of sunflowers and daisies
greet black-eyed susan delight
yellow warblers sing
in the heart of hot summer
the song lives on forever
on the blooming paths of time
tales of summer love
sailing on fresh breeze
my hat is off for a ride
alluring blue skies
fragrant flowers cringe
until gold moment all's clear
windsongs at windows
a determined quest
from orange clouds to the ground
......
in strawberry dawn
yellow roses tinged with gold
midst trembling green leaves
blueberry skies and
afternoon's raven shadows
seagulls glide gilt bay
mulberry evening
as scarlet butterflies leave
......
hot days unlikely
as colored leaves fall pretty
indian summer
though glimpsing the fall
late summer's still at the gate
love songs in the trees
beautiful encore
a rich hued, bloom revival
......
Fruits of a long day
black cherries in sundown skies
Then deep purple night
We've long loved the sun
but now greet dusky shadows
The platinum moon
sends rich luster from afar
in the wild rose phase
The birds have not sung lately
......
sun on autumn leaves
struck it rich with gold on gold
hued blossoms shiver
chill winds wandering
with varicolored birds, far
time's slow surrender
on saying goodbye
nature leaves hued memories
......
