washed down with a bottle of wine.
A beautiful woman sat at my side
‘twas a wonderful way to dine.

The sun shone in a sky so clear
as the waves broke upon the shore.
‘twas great to be with you my dear;
and to feast with the one I adore.

Heavenly banquet

I went to the heavenly banquet,
To the table that Jesus had set,
and broke the bread and drank the wine
nourishing this poor soul of mine.

Then my spirit soared heavenward
as before His furnished table I stood.
Knowing that He loved me so much
and feeling His tender loving touch.
