The piper on the hill

The rain drizzles slowly down,
And all is calm and still.
Even the wind holding its breath,
For the piper on the hill.

As the clans have done for an age,
Tall and proud they stand.
As the pipes begin to skirl,
And music fills the land.

Wearing his kilt and a Zen-like grin...
I’m proud to call him my brother...
He’s my family... he’s my Piper Tim...

Whether he’s playing Amazing Grace...
Or my favorite tune Danny Boy...
His gift of music brings to the world...
So much serenity... so much joy...
