The Everlasting Council of Peace
by Carl Rex

The Joyful place that ever sang, at once did come to halt
Startled by this sudden change, I wondered what's the fault?
The Holy Angels hushed their harps, proceeded on to cry
So curious as to what's the cause, I bluntly asked them "Why?"

An Angel pointed down to earth, deep darkness there prevailed
The Holy pair had lost their robe, for they had fully failed
Their final test of loyalty by eating from the tree
And listening to that artful snake, they lost their liberty!

Angel of Darkness
by Yoko Fushigina

Being begotten in haze and despair,
By which helpless souls were branded,
Dark Angel left Heavens for earthbound Hell
To end the horror we'd started.
Tearing the chains of our minds
And breaking trough night and day,
Paving the way inbetween acid lies
She's solvation from our dismay.

She doesn't feel frightened crossing the sea

Holy War
by Bryan Burkevics

Searing blades full of thunder,
Helping tear the world asunder,
Bleeding truth of guile and fear,
Raucous voices emit a cheer.

Bring again the word of dark,
Preying demons soon embark,
Stalk the innocent, selfless lives,
As light must flee so darkness thrives.

Two Or Three Angels
by Stephen Crane

Two or three angels
Came near to the earth.
They saw a fat church.
Little black streams of people
Came and went in continually.
And the angels were puzzled
To know why the people went thus,
And why they stayed so long within.

Diamond Rain
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Gently they fell all the ebony night,
Sparkling in the heavenly starlight;
A rare treasure from such great height,
And shining far beyond the limelight!

For diamonds fell from last eve's sunset,
As nightbirds began the love duet;
When angels descended, passion coronet!
Such a joyful rain, that was not wet!

Hear the Musical Bells
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

they herald the sweet season
like blooms herald spring
while carolers' chorus sounds

angels are singing as well
in moonlight, upon a cloud
joy is everywhere

the bells remind us
of the love from up above

Satellites Wrecked Dawn, Terlingua
by Alison Derick

In our favorite place,
there was a blanket of galaxies wrapped up in your kiss,
you told me you loved the lullaby of stars as I held you in my arms.
I was tracking satellites fading into the dawn as I watched you sleep -
breathing in waves like little sighs of skylight:
I loved what I saw inside you.
I loved each time I felt you.
I loved you, otherworldly.

Eased by the calming call of heavens - the angels told me to ‘let go - just give in....’
