It's him Lord and he has done it again!
Why can't he just stop and learn to refrain?
He wants me to forgive him once more
but he's done it too many times before!

Just how many more times must I be nice?
For I've already forgiven him twice!
'Seventy seven times and more,’ You say,
if I wish to follow the Jesus Way!

It's me Lord and I've done it yet again!
How I wish that I could learn to refrain.
For I have done it many time before
and come for forgiveness once more.

I’m so glad that You forgive and forgive again
for from the things I do I cannot refrain.
I commit the same sins so repeatedly
and yet in Your mercy You forgive me.
