My Mum was originally a mill worker and Dad a foundry worker all his working life. They brought me up in Western Leeds, Yorkshire, England. I failed my eleven plus yet went from County Secondary School to Grammar School 6th Form to HE College to University. My career was in education. My parents gave me talent and I used some of it in my hobby of writing.
