I find beauty among pine trees,
rocks, grass, adorning hills
sunrise and candle light
fountains quenching traveler’s thirsts. I find beauty in blue skies
in clouds descending to earth in bliss.
In clear nights taking away my sleep
with brightness...moon out of reach. I find beauty in prairies, streams
in sunset splendor near seas
in white sand reflecting glee
in palms swayed by a soft kind breeze. I find love in the warmth of kind words
from my daughter, when I am grieved.
The grin in her eyes when she finds
there is happiness
in my day to day routine.
