Silence used to be my prison,
a place and a moment from long ago
that made me feel the most anxious,
Most unsafe and broken.
And back then, it was as if light vanished.

Time flew, things changed.

Silence is now my escape.
My haven, my comfort.
And I realize that everything
Led me to this moment and
This is where I belong and what
I’ve always been longing for so long.

And I honestly couldn’t ask for more.
