bujhaa bujhaa saa aik diyaa

Khaak uRaate haiN din raat
miiloN phail gaye sehraa
(Khaak : dust; miiloN : miles; sehraa : desert)
zaaGh-o-zaghan ki chiiKhoN se
suunaa jangal guuNj uThaa
(zaaGh : crow; zaghan : kite; chiiKhoN : shouts; suunaa : silent; jangal : forest)
suuraj sar par aa pahuNchaa
garmii hai yaa roz-e-jazaa
