To be silent is the safest,
As your mind isn't known,
When your tongue gets rest,
No harsh words are sown,
Calmly when you do the best,
No occasion arises to atone,

Fools reveal whatever they feel,
Their schools teach not to conceal,
Their tools are lost in the deal,

Wise men by being always silent,
Win everyone to their advantage ,
Their ears alone are by them lent,
They know not what is rage,
Peacefully their lives are spent,
They get the qualities of a sage !
