The power source of the iron hammer is waterpower.
An immensely embattled waterwheel transmits
power to huge hammer shaft.
On this a cam ring sits
that pushes down the tail end of the hammer shaft.
On the other end of the shaft this causes
the pulled back hammer bar to be suspended
The tail of the hammer hits a steel plate
that allows it to bounce back instantly
so that the head of the hammer strikes the anvil.
The process then repeats.
