I'm an 18-year-old poet/author. I have two published poetry collections. Both are through Amazon and my second book is also through Barnes & Noble. I got into poetry because I was looking for an outlet when my grandfather died. He was my father figure and loosing him was hard. Eventually, my friends and peers decided I was really good at poetry and encouraged me to try and publish a book. My first collection was published only two weeks after my 18th birthday.
