What's a blessing, Grandma?
I don't know what to say.
So we had juice and pancakes,
And I, at last, did pray.
What's a blessing, Grandma?
I don't know what it means.
I really am quite puzzled
For strange it really seems.
A blessing is a prayer, dear.
Ah, now you know at last,
The words we say at mealtime
A'fore to heaven cast.
The biggest one, it seems to me,
Is just so clearly true--
It's having such a grandson,
Indeed, my blessing's you.
