The grandeur of God
Is like the purple on the mountain tops
Regal in the golden sun. Its velveteen splendor
Reduces the oceans to a dull green
But sparkling reflections
Of celestial brilliance
Renew the splendor of the skies. No one knows the beauty
Of rich God-painted hues
So much as You
Oh, Creator of all color
All substance, all being. I desire the thrill of autumn changes
The sparkle of the midnight sky
The powerful awe of the wind and rain.
I desire a touch of the Creator
The mental image of God Himself.
Alas, Nature reflects His beauty.
I come so close to seeing The Face of God.
