We have heard the story about turning fifty, how life is just
grand and you feel so nifty. It's just wonderful when the children are grown but when we
look in the mirror we hear a loud groan. Unmentionables are starting to droop, it is getting harder
and harder to stoop. The underwear takes care of the sag but the head still needs
a bag. All is vanity we hear them say, it's not what counts as we
continue to fray. All that matters are the ones we love but some days we wish
we were a dove. Life changes we're told are for the best but please dear Lord
I need a rest. It's how we loved that's important when we part, our loved
ones and what we did from our heart!
