How I enjoy writing in a language
they say is dying.
What a feeling of peace and relief
to carry it down to the source of springs,
the shady groin, the blessed woman
of early lights.

She spread her sex and I opened my eyes
and read this on the bleeding walls:
I will speak!
And now I say, now that I know all there is
about love and thieves,
the deeper the death, the deeper in earth.
