Silent truth

I could see
But I could not speak.
Any words spoken
Would be weight fallen from the sky.
It would not be valid truth.
Silence brings a gentle understanding
Not shaken or misled
Words would bleed for a silent need.
There's nothing at all that could take
The place of the unspoken truth
Though running away still finds a seed.
Perhaps it drops to a creed.
