There were things, we were going to do.
Schools, and careers, and future plans too. As growing years, just seemed to fly.
Many of ours did certainly die. Now your a man, a husband and father.
One might ask, why all the bother! Because I love you, and certainly care,
Plans that were lain, never came to bare. Now I am old, and can't fill the bill
Darling, I too, am over the hill. So take the advice, of one in the know.
Life indeed, does take it's toll. Take a moment to reflect and rejoice
Listen to your heart for that small voice. For memories are made, by the things that we do.
And carries us on, till our life it through.
